Getting In and Out of a Car Correctly

Our busy lives have made it necessary to get in and out of cars a lot. Most of us, myself included, have been “spilling” ourselves out of our car in a rush to get to our meeting – lugging stuff in our arms – with no regard for the pressure we are putting on our back, hips and knees.

By making a thoughtful change, we can get rid of some of our aches and pains.

There are two videos I found online that describe how to get in and out of a car in a sensible way.

The first is done by a chiropractor, who does a great job describing the reasons to make the changes. He demonstrates getting in the car. The second is just fun, but the woman in the video is in a short skirt and heels, and has different modesty reasons to get out of the car in, what happens to be, the correct way.

I can personally attest to the relief of pain, because I was studying for my certification on Posture Correction. We were led in our online studies to see the chiropractor’s video. I had been experiencing pain in my left knee due to my schedule requiring me to do more in and out of the car situations. I made the change and the pain went away. I hope this can help you or someone you know!
